◆ DC SHUNTS | |
DC shunts are available for currents between 10Amps and 5000Amps, offering reliability and calss0.5,accuracy making them suitable for a large range of industrial applications. Four ranges are available that develop either 50mV, 60mV,75mV,100mV at full load current. The millivolt signal can then be safely taken to suitably scaled moving coil indicating instrument or other monitoring device. The shunts are brass ended manganin and all shunts up to the 200 Amp rating are mounted on an insulted base ensuring electrical insulation. All non-insulated shunts may need protection against accidental contact. The shunts should be mounted vertically with the blade faces vertical to achieve maximum heat dissipation. | |
